Moto Wewa est une évocation de Kinshasa, pas une copie : les façades, la circulation et les réclames de quartier sont inventées. Les marques, noms et affiches des annonceurs et des artistes cités appartiennent à leurs propriétaires.
Certaines images et certaines musiques du jeu ont été créées avec des outils d'intelligence artificielle générative.
